Have you ever felt like sometimes the game spawned way too many enemies in a single wave, or that you were thrown into impossible situations that quickly went down hill?

I got frustrated after unlocking greedier on my 3rd save and decided to do an experiment.

Let's check this wave out for example

7 pacers, one of which is a champion that splits into 2, 8 second limit.

The total amount of hp is 100hp (6*10+10*2+10*2)
Isaac's base damage per second is 9.555 (3.5*2.73)
100 divided by 9.555 is actually 10.46, Well over TWO SECONDS of the specified time limit.

This alone makes the wave mathematically impossible to beat. No matter your skill you can NEVER complete it in time if your starting room doesn't have a dps upgrade.

but that's not all, even if 100 is the total amount of hp, you still need to deal more damage than that due to the fact that 10 can't be divided by 3.5, meaning that on the third tear that hits and kills a pacer you actually lose some of the damage from your dps.

The total amount of tears required to be shot to beat this wave is 30 tears (6*3+6+2*3)
it takes roughly 11 seconds to shoot all those tears, putting at as a 3 seconds over the time limit.

All it takes is 1 wave like that and for another one after it to practically make the first floor a living hell.
All of which is down to RNG and also assumes that you are always shooting AND all your shots land, which is completely unreasonable.

not to mention that the boss waves on basement are also often not possible under the time frame, but by that time you can already by a damage upgrade (if there is one) or fight 2 bosses at the same time, which is fairly managable...
