Door Stop is an S-tier trinket as Keeper or The Lost. Here's why. Posted: 07 Jan 2020 05:16 AM PST Door Stop is an item that I've seen many people sleep on, either not knowing what it did or thinking it was useless or even bad. Honestly though, after using it a few times and it virtually saving two very hard runs I had as both Keeper and The Lost, it might be one of my new favorite items in the game. Or at the very least one of my new favorite trinkets. What it does is it makes it so when you enter a room, the door behind you stays open, allowing you to escape. And then when/if you return the enemies will respawn. I've talked with a couple people about it and they mentioned they didn't like this feature because they "kept walking out" and having to redefeat enemies. Honestly though, like several of the weirder items in this game, I feel like it's super good but you just need to start playing with a different mindset instead. During one very rough run as Keeper (my first Isaac kill with him actually) I was in the Dank Depths and I suddenly picked this up. That's when I discovered its potential. Walk into a room and see a dead end? Walk right out. Take damage and lost your precious coin heart? Escape the room and find a coin before returning. After a while it felt like a weird nerfed version of Glowing Hour Glass and a better version of the D10 rolled into one, but it took up your trinket slot as suppose to your spacebar slot. It also suddenly allowed me to scout rooms too for the best route to the boss. It even allows you to "reroll" champions into their normal variants since that's decided when you enter a room. I was able to get to and beat Isaac solely because of this item. Later I got this item again as The Lost and at that moment I discovered something even crazier. This trinket allows you to ESCAPE BOSS ROOMS! I forgot if it worked for every boss, but it did for most normal bosses and even the Delirium fight. Lose your Holy Mantle in a room? As long as you can escape before your invincibility frames run out so you can refresh it, you're practically invincible! The only reason I lost that run was because during one of my attempts Delirium transformed into Mega Fatty and blocked the exit door. It was unfortunate, but it made me realize just how good this item is. Don't neglect Door Stop, guys. It might just save your run as the two hardest characters to play as. [link] [comments]

Pokemon types for each item (#1-#50) Posted: 07 Jan 2020 07:11 AM PST So, here it goes. Each day, I will give 50 items a corresponding Pokemon type and explanation. Some will be easy, some will be hard, but this should be fun. Without further ado, let's do this thing.

Posted: 07 Jan 2020 10:13 AM PST The co-op we are given in the game is garbage and I don't know how it mod so here is my idea for a co-op/vurses mod: Every item room has two items in it, other than that the game is basically the same There is a mod where each player gets to play a proper character, the difference in this one is that the two characters are playing independently. If one character gets to the item room first, then they get to pick which item they want and can't pick up the other one. This leaves the treasure room unlocked and the other player has only one item to choose from. The first player to get to the boss room gets to fight the boss. If they win, once that player enters the trapdoor both players are brought to the next floor's starting room. If the player loses, they become a ghost, free to explore the floor until the other person beats the boss (bringing the dead player back and starting the new floor) or dies. Everything else is the same. If a player enters a room, they cant leave until all the monsters are killed. However, the other player may still enter the room, they just won't be able to leave until the monsters are killed Let me know what you think and what other features could be added (or fixed) [link] [comments]
