Hope y'all are having a wonderful day wherever you are in the world, and a merry Saturday to those of you living on a Saturday. I'm off to go cherry picking (just summer things, baby), but before I depart, it's Boss Discussion time! The last couple weeks have seen us blazing through our new end bosses (and getting a little Singed at the same time), and now it's time to take things down a notch.

This stone bastard may not mark the end of your run (Tainted Lost not withstanding), but they're certainly not without things to pick apart. Whether you're a Greedier fanatic or a Tainted Cain abuser, Great Gideon comes for us all just the same. Welcome to Boss Discussion #5—let's get ~ wavy ~

[Great Gideon]

HP: 2400

Behaviors

• Great Gideon is always fought in a vertical double-size room, and has no health; instead, Isaac must battle 6 waves of monsters unique the floor

• During waves, in addition to spawning enemies, Great Gideon will use various attacks

• Great Gideon can create a vacuum affecting the whole room, pulling Isaac, enemies, and enemy projectiles towards itself, along with additional rock projectiles

• Great Gideon can spit 5 projectiles in a cone shape, with a larger center projectile which splits into 8 radial projectiles after landing or hitting something

• Great Gideon can spit large flame projectiles down the center of the arena, which can leave small fires behind (and turn enemies into their flaming versions)

• After staring the 4th wave, Great Gideon releases a rock wave down the center of the room, breaking parts of the floor and leaving gaps (so as not to trap Isaac)

• Great Gideon does not spawn the next enemy wave during the middle of any of his attacks and only progresses a wave once he has finished

• After Isaac defeats all 6 waves of monsters, Great Gideon will deactivate, similar to a regular Grimace

• Great Gideon can be instantly killed with Chaos Card revealing a unique 1x2 Crawl Space with 2 items, 2 chests, and a key
