How do you do, fellow dorks? I have underslept and overeaten, which has me feeling rather ~ meh ~. If only eating half a brick of cheese, y'know, gave me cool random stat upgrades instead of making me feel like trash. But hey, that's what Item Discussions are for, baby! It's been a minute since we had a cool Secret Room item up on the chopping block, and what better time than today to rectify that.

Secret Room items (except Glitched Crown for me, which I have seen maybe 7 times) are the sorta items you see maybe a couple times in your Isaac career, and they stick in your brain forever. Binge Eater is no exception, and leads to fun situations where Midnight Snack finally takes it rightful place in S tier. I'd tell you to pace yourself so you don't feel sick later, but...heck, go nuts—it's Binge Eater!

Item Effect

• Grants one Heart Container and fully heals Isaac

• All item pedestals cycle between their actual item and a random food item

• Picking up a food item grants Isaac a temporary +3.6 Damage boost (which fades over 30 seconds, and does not stack), along with 2 permanent stat boosts which vary based on the food item

• Breakfast grants +0.2 Speed, +1.5 Range

• Dessert grants +1 Damage, +0.2 Speed

• Dinner grants +0.5 Tears, +0.2 Shot Speed

• Lunch grants +0.5 Tears, +1.5 Range

• Midnight Snack grants +1 Damage, +1 Luck

• Rotten Meat grants +1 Damage, +1.5 Range

• A Snack grants +0.2 Shot Speed, +1 Luck

• Supper grants +0.5 Tears, +1 Luck
