I...should have studied for my linguistics midterm this weekend. But dang it, Succession S3 is out, baby! I will not drop any spoilers in this 'ere intro, but sheesh, we're back. In Isaac news, we're dangerously close to our 100th installment of Item Discussion. Thursday will be an exciting affair—until then, though, #97 will have to suffice. Let's talk Tinytoma, one of my personal favorite familiars!

Tinytoma

Itching for revenge

• Grants a large orbital similar to Teratoma that slowly orbits Isaac

• The orbital repels enemies that touch it and deals 3.5 contact damage to enemies, once per second

• After blocking 3 shots and/or dealing 3 ticks of contact damage, the orbital splits into two smaller orbitals that orbit opposite one another, and burst into 3 blue spiders after taking 2 hits

• 5 seconds after both orbitals are destroyed, the original orbital spawns

• Spiked rocks can destroy Tinytoma, allowing for massive spider gains (up to the cap of 64)

Passive Item: Familiar

Pools: Baby Room, Item Room, Greed Item Room

Unlock: Defeat Mother as Lazarus
