Item Discussion

I've been veg since age 6, but giving up dairy has been slow going, man. I like my cheeses, and milk in my cereal is hard to pivot from. I've never quite been able to put my finger on it, but every time I try another type, I can't help the tears from streaming down my face. Soy milk, almond milk, oat milk—they're just not it for me. Maybe it's time to try water.

On the other hand, during my Isaac runs? I can't get enough of 'em, consequences be damned. The zane has seeped so deep into my cerebral cortex from years of Northernlion that Soy Milk is an instant pick-up, and Almond Milk is right there along side it.

But...is it ~~juice~~ milk actually worth the squeeze? Are you the type of Isaac player who actually uses worm trinkets? Enjoy missing 90% of your shots? Oh baby, have I got the item for you. Today, for Day #4 of Repentance Daily Discussions, we're talking Almond Milk.

Almond Milk

DMG down + tears up + you feel nutty

Item Effect

• Greatly increases tears (x4 fire rate)

• Greatly decreases damage (x0.33 damage multiplier)

• Individual tears gain random worm effects (e.g. Hook Worm, Wiggle Worm etc.)

• There were a few minor technical difficulties (there's a special place in hell for those involved with designing Google Drive permissions), but the Archive & Suggestion form are now fully functional! If there are items, trinkets, bosses, pickups, characters or anything you'd like to be discussed sooner rather than later, drop a reply and let me know. And, to answer some initial questions:

"What happens when an item would get buffed/nerfed/reworked? Would there be an updated thread? What about previous (non-repentance) items that were buffed/nerfed/reworked? Can we get some new discussions threads or those?"

• The same actually happened a couple in the Workshop days—a Redux Discussion is a definite possibility. And yep, there will be new discussion threads for old items that were reworked (Shard of Glass, Glass Cannon, Brim, etc)

"Can we also get character [or trinket, boss, pickup, ...] discussions sometime in the future? I think it would be a fun discussion for all of them."

• Yep! There are just more items, so...more frequent item discussions! Rest assured, the rest will be coming Soon™

"[Could you] push the Birthright [or Abyss, Tainted Laz, ...] discussion to a later number than 8? [It's] currently unfinished and..."

• Yep! I added all the items to the Directory to make things a bit easier to keep track of, rest assured the order is in no way locked. Birthright, Abyss, and Bag of Crafting in particular are going to be shelved until they are fully finished.
