    What makes Isaac so special and why do I still play nearly daily?

    I have tried dead cells, enter dungeon, and many other games in this genre and have enjoyed them a little but eventually get stale and boring. Yet BOI I have played at least once a week for nearly 2 years and still enjoy it every single time. What is it that makes this game so much more enjoyable and fun?

    The Dream Run

    New to the community but wanted to share with others the dream run I had last night. Since flash Isaac I haven't had a run like this until now. I was Eden (whom I never play) I started with fragmented card And I think Deck of Cards (or I traded my spacebar for it 1st floor) IT WAS A SHIT RUN (at first) By the grace fragmented card I lived made my way through basement and caves barely (Playing cruddy). I was able to get steam sale and bought restock (I cant remember the item) I go down a floor and somehow got another steam sale. So I proceeded to break the game. I got the book of sin free and kept recharging for free in the shop until full items and health and bought every power up and familiar I could until the shop was full. I beat satan for free and went to be chuckling.

    Here's a suggestion

    An item which makes it so your red hearts deplete before your soul- or black hearts.

    Name could be something like "Athiesm" (since your "real" hearts deplete before your so called soul hearts. I know believing in having a soul has nothing to do with religion, but i guess it could kinda work)

    or "Outer shell"/"Exoskeleton" or something like that.
