- Why not tie the curses to the bosses? Basically, if you kill the boss, the curse on disappears. Or introduce a new enemy type who is tied to the curse, the Curse Caster or whatever. Basically gives us a way to interact with the Curses.

Posted: 14 Apr 2021 08:25 AM PDT Right now, one of the only ways of interacting with a curse is via Black Candle, which just nullifies them completely. This change however, adds more interaction as well as flavor. Instead of the curses just randomly happening, there is now actually a cause. Not only that, it introduces some decision making now. Do you bum rush the boss to make curse of the blind disappear? Or do you still pick up the item first to make yourself more powerful against said boss? I think this change would make more sense than what the current system works. Or at the very least, introduce a new enemy type who is casting and maintaining the curse and allow them to spawn on a non-special room. If you find and kill this enemy type, the curse disappears.
