Alas, my apologies to the dedicated discussers that don't live on the West Coast of the US. Never fear, though—slight delay aside, Item Discussion #13 is here! And, my dorks and dweebs, what would a discussion be without digging in to yet another Secret Room, Jacob & Esau unlock? Darn these accursed brothers and their cool freaking items, man. Hate to watch 'em throw, but love to 'em thieve (a second item I dunno this doesn't quite work). Anyhow, today we're talking one of the more zanier of an already stacked unlock pool: Vanishing Twin! Let's get to it, yo 🕶 Vanishing Twin He wants revenge Item Effect • Spawns a flat, rotating fetus familiar that follows Isaac • After entering a boss room, the familiar moves to the center of the room, and becomes a clone of the boss • Both bosses will be set to 75% of their max health, and their movements/attack patterns will be slowed • The clone boss will drop an item pedestal from the boss item pool on death, even if the fight isn't over yet • The cloning does not occur against mini-bosses or end bosses (e.g. Mom's Heart, Isaac, Mega Satan...) • The Vanishing Twin familiar will re-appear when Isaac reaches the next floor Passive Item Unlock: Defeat Hush as Jacob & Esau Pool: Curse Room, Secret Room Leave your opinions, experiences, and suggestions (for the item or the Discussion series as a whole) down below! • Wiki Link • Post Collection (New Reddit) • Previous Thread: Knockout Drops ୧[•-•]୨ submitted by /u/Nathansbud [link] [comments]
