Dorks, dweebs, and everybody in between...hello! This week feels like it has been dragging on for a century, possibly due to a dash of sleep deprivation. If only there was a pill or something you could take for that, eh? Well, okay, fine, there are many, but I was trying to subtly segue into the fact that Consumable Discussions are back and better than ever, baby.

Time is moving so slow, it's hard to believe the last one was only a mere 2 weeks ago. The past is the past, though, let's live in the present. And heck, I've had a rough go of it, I feel I deserve something nice. You know what, I'm feeling greedy, dang it—I deserve a heckload of nice things. This week, Gimme Just a Little Bit More...we're talking Horse Pills & Golden Pills!

[Horse Pills]

• Horse Pills are larger versions of standard pills with more powerful effects, which only appear rarely

• When it makes sense (e.g. stat upgrades, Balls of Steel, ...), "more powerful" simply means effects are doubled—many pills are uniquely affected though (shoutout SlayXc2 baby)

• All pill-affecting items work identically with Horse Pills

• The narrator's voice lines are super exaggerated for Horse Pills and it rules

Unlock: Defeat Mega Satan as Tainted Eve

[Golden Pills]

• Gold Pills are pills which grant a random pill effect, but only have a chance to be consumed on use, meaning they can potentially be used many times prior to disappearing (with a different effect each time)

• Gold Pills pull from the pool of effects not present in the run's pill pool, meaning an effect from a normal pill will never appear when using a Golden Pill

• Golden Horse Pills are possible (!), and work as you'd expect
