Item Discussion

New day, new city, baby. I have arrived in Boulder, and in honor of my plane not crashing and burning despite a pretty hearty dose of turbulence, I figured it was only fitting to devote today's Item Discussion to another Angel item. It's Divine Intervention!

Divine Intervention

Double tap shield

Item Effect

• Double tapping a fire key will create a Divine Shield that slowly moves in the chosen direction

• Enemies are pushed back in the opposite direction of the shield—reversing trajectory with added momentum—and take/deal 10 damage on contacting an enemy (or wall)

• Enemy tears are reflected back towards the enemy that fired them

• Enemy lasers are reflected, dealing 7 damage per tick (105 per second); this works even on all lasers, including massive ones like The Beast's and Dogma beams

• The shield has a 1 second duration, and cooldown of 3 seconds

• Divine Intervention belongs to the Seraphim set
