My wonderful dorks and dweebs...it's crazy what adjusting your sleep schedule does to your ability to stay up until 4 AM for no reason! It's barely past midnight, but my eyes, they droop. So, a quick one (while I'm awake)! Item Discussion #160, and we're taking a stab at yet another unlocked starting item. It's Lemegeton, yo 🕶

Lemegeton

Item summoner

• On use, Lemegeton will grant a random passive item with a summonable tag as an orbital wisp familiar, granting the passive's effect

• Spawned wisp familiars have a 25% chance to be drawn from the current room pool

• Wisp familiars can block up to 4 shots and/or get hit by 2 explosions before being destroyed, and deal 2x Damage / Tick contact damage (though also take contact damage)

• When destroyed, the granted passive effect is lost

• Isaac can have up to 24 wisps: an inner counterclockwise ring of 6, a middle clockwise ring with 8, and an outer counterclockwise ring of 10

• Using Lemegeton with a full set of 24 wisps causes the oldest one to be replaced

Active: 6 Room Charge

Pools: Library, Devil Room, Greed Devil Room

Unlock: Defeat Delirium as Tainted Bethany

Item Discussion

Follow-up interview tomorrow (heck yeah, baby, look at that narrative continuity), so I'm headed to bed Early for once. A shocker, I know. And, since fortune favors the bold or something, I figured an interesting item would be a good omen for my chances. So, here's a barrel of laughs to dig into for Item Discussion #161. We're talking Bag of Crafting!

Bag of Crafting

Make your destiny

• On use, pressing an attack button swings the bag in a direction, causing a swipe attack with high knockback that deals 3 damage (swipe size scales with Isaac)

• The swipe size scales with Isaac's size, and distance away scales with range

• The swipe can open Spiked Chests and Mimic Chests without taking damage, as well as block bullets

• Swiping pickups add them to the bag, the contents of which cannot be dropped, though picking up more than 8 will replaced the last item in the bag

• If 8 pickups are held in the bag, using the bag will spawn an item pedestal (blindly unless playing as Tainted Cain)

• Double pickups add two copies of the pickup to the bag,

• Sticky Nickels, Chests, and Sacks cannot be picked up (though the latter two will be opened on swipe)

• Crafting recipes are seeded per run, and the same item can be crafted multiple times in a row; if a recipe would result in an item that has not been unlocked, a random item is spawned

• Pickup order in the bag does not matter when crafting items

• There are so many details about how this item works and I refuse to list them all, if y'all care about the details go read the Wiki
