Following an exceptionally late night, I had what can only be described as an exceptionally unproductive Saturday. Alas, it happens to the best of us...and also yours truly. Hope all you wonderful dorks and dweebs are enjoying the weekend. I'm going to tuck in soon, but before I count sheep, it's Item Discussion #89 time. Move over Incubus—Twisted Pair runs this town 🕶

Spirit Shackles

Unfinished business

• Upon death, Isaac turns into a ghost that is linked to Isaac's dead body (similar to The Forgotten's Soul) and can continue fighting with 1/2 of a heart

• Isaac comes back to life 10 seconds after this effect occurs if no damage in taken in ghost form

• Isaac has flight in ghost form, but no spectral tears

• After this effect occurs, Spirit Shackles cannot activate again until Isaac gains a half or full Soul Heart or a Black Heart (will not be added to Isaac's health). Blended Hearts will only recharge if picking up would grant a full Soul Heart

• When the Shackles are ready, their costume on Isaac's arms is light blue—otherwise, when they cannot protect from death, the Shackles are grey

• The entire heart gained is used to charge the item, although only a half heart is required
