Played about 50 hours of the game and I just found out that you have to activate pills and cards to use them Posted: 08 Dec 2020 03:19 PM PST I've been fuckin hooked on Isaac for the past few weeks, been doing a bunch of challenges and trying to finish as many runs with as many characters as I can, all in all just having a great time. I'm playing on Vita which is nice cause I can play it in bed, but the lack of buttons on Vita and reliance on the touchscreen has left me in the dark as to how pills and cards worked. I assumed that they just all produced whatever random effect they had passively instead of actually having to activate them, and I definitely tricked myself into thinking that certain pills gave me better speed or fire rate or whatever, so I guess the placebo effect applies to pills in game as well as real life. I accidentally touched the corner of my screen when I had a pill and was fucking blown away when a Speed Up message appeared on screen. I cannot believe that I played for so long without ever realizing that the pills and cards weren't actually doing anything for me, but hey at least now I can have a little easier time with this game submitted by /u/RubberSoul28 [link] [comments]

Mods capping out at 15?
