first off just want to point out that the Kickstarter will launch in 2 days and 3 hours from this post! (midnight pst) for those of you who havent, you have 2 days to sign up for early access at thefoursouls.com if you sign up with the same email you use to back the kickstarter we will send a pack of these 2 promo cards. once this KS starts these cards will no longer be added to any orders.

all previous figures will return in this kickstarter! by far the most requested aspect of the kickstarter, you guys wanted them reprinted and we are doing so! not only that each pack will come at a 5$ discount and youll save a bit more if you buy all packs together.

Tainted Laz, or The Enigma will part of Requiem. this weird card flips back and forth from its 2 states each time he dies!

Eve will be added to the figure selection! ( the darkness under her eyes will look more grey in the end )

Birthrights will be part of Requiem! ( and work on all characters this time ;) )

WARP ZONE! this time we will be unlocking PACKS of bonus cards featuring content from other IPs! imagine the possibilities! designing these has been one of my favorite parts of the KS thus far and i think you guys will shit when you see them.. but you need to unlock them. ill start giving you lists of things to do during the KS, the fast you do them the more packs we unlock. i have 10 packs prepped but im will going to go further if you guys go the extra mile :)

Battle Royale! this room card allows you to attack other players on your turn! the room deck is a super fun addition that will cause some real chaos.

The KS will feature a Tainted 4 player mat! this mat is huge!.. and haunted! woooooo. ( this will be a kickstarter add-on )

the Big boi Box tier will feature a custom red and black dice! this dice will be exclusive to this box and is pretty damn sweet.

there will also be a new guest artist single player playmat by peach momoko. (add-on only)

peach also did this sweet alt art card! we will be unlocking a new alt art card featuring a new guest artist every 1k backers! so the more people we pull in the more get added ( all alt art promos will be added to the big boi box tier and above )

and thats that, 2 more days of spoilers and this shit starts. i hope even if you guys dont back the KS youll join in the social goal fun online, i have a lot of fun stuff planned and hope to stream and hang out with you all as much as possible.

Y'all are neither getting your regularly-scheduled non-item programming, nor a post at the usual hour. Instead, today is a rare weekend Item Discussion because...I'm off to go sail all day! So, to compensate, enjoy an absolute banger of an item. One of the immediate standouts for me from the Repentance pool of standout items, it's Genesis!

Genesis

In the beginning

Item Effect

• On use, resets character stats and items, and teleports the player to a unique bedroom that acts like an I AM ERROR room containing a bed, 2 chests, 2 sacks, and a Trinket; the only way out is via the beam of light

• This resets character to the initial one the run started with, even if the character changed via a respawn item or Clicker

• For every item removed, 3 items from the same pool will be available to choose from, each set appearing one after the other

• For each copy of the item, the amount of extra choices is the number of copies squared

• If used on one of the final floors of the game, such as Chest, the beam of light will be replaced with a crawl space that leads Isaac back to the starting room of the floor he used it on. In addition, the aforementioned chests will include items. These items will not disappear along the "choice" pedestals.

• If used during The Beast's fight, it will merely teleport Isaac to the middle of the room, removing no items from him.
