    Welcome back, dorks & dweebs, to Daily Discussions! Tomorrow we'll kick off things that are not just items (gasp!), but, as the expression goes, the last is certainly not our least zany. Nor is it fair to really deem it the last when it's 6/a bajillion, but hey, I run this town, I make the rules baby 🕶

    Indeed, today we're talking the one of Repentance's least usable weirdest items, and definitely one of the more interesting ones. Repentance has really given the Secret Room pool time to shine, and this headache-inducing item is no different. A classic from back in the Community Remix days, this bad boy becomes an instant centerpiece for any run with the (mis)fortune to stumble across it. You know it, you (might) love it, it's Wavy Cap, yo!

    Wavy Cap

    Tears up. A mind changing experience

    Item Effect

    • Each use gives +0.75 Tears Up (including past tear cap) and -0.03 Speed Down

    • Each use distorts the screen and audio slightly

    • All of these effects stack for the rest of the floor, meaning if used too many times the screen will be distorted so much it becomes unplayable

    • Each room you clear removes one use worth of effect, reducing the screen distortion slightly and giving +0.06 Speed Up and -0.3 Tears Down

    • Counts as 1 of 3 mushroom items needed towards the Fun Guy transformation.

    Active Item: 1 Second Recharge (+1s / Use), Battery-Only Recharge >10 Uses
