Boss Discussion

Crud, it's August all ready? Time flies when you're having fun, you absolute dweebs. Summer is trickling away, dang it—and yes, I will be mentioning that basically 24/7 until I have to fly my ass back to school, sue me. In any case, my woes aside, it's ~~Sunday morning~~ Saturday once again, so it's Boss Discussion time, baby! It's been a hot second since we dealt with a boss not locked to the Alt Path...er, no, that's a blatant lie, I said that last week. But hey, the more the freakin' merrier, right? In any case, for the big 1-0, we're diving right into The Pile.

[The Pile]

HP: 580

Behaviors

• The Pile slowly slides around the room and performs various spike and bone-related attacks, listed below

• Burrows underground, then emerges elsewhere and fires 5 bone projectiles towards Isaac. This attack is repeated thrice in quick succession, and the re-emergence point is generally near Isaac or along the path of movement

• Summons a Bony (maximum 2 alive simultaneously)

• Summons spikes along its cardinal directions, starting at the edges of the room and moving towards The Pile

• Charges in Isaac's direction (continuing until reaching a wall or obstacle, the latter of which is destroyed on contact), creating diagonal lines of rock waves away from the wall and launching a spray of bone projectiles towards Isaac. While charging, The Pile gains dramatically increased knockback resistance
