Character Discussion

Oh gosh, I'm utterly beat for what seems to be the 4th day in a row. I try and avoid giving away too much personal information on the internet to strangers, but moving into this dang college dorm after a year of seeing no human beings is...a lot. But hey, even 4 hours of sleep won't stop me from bringing you the finest Discussions this side of the East Coast. A huge shout out to the lovely /u/Spore64 for a very cute post (even if your arithmetic is a touch lacking, I think this is post #121?), made my day baby.

Anyways, that was a rather long, self-indulgent paragraph highly unrelated to everybody's thoughts on today's topic of discussion. It's Sunday (well, Monday morning—about to face plant), and our character pool is shrinking ever smaller. Finally, it's time to take a crack at the miserly bastard—what can I say, though, they're definitely a Keeper!

Health: 3 Coin Hearts (2 Pre-Hush)

Damage: 3.5 * 1.2

Tears: -2

Shot Speed: 1

Range: 6.5

Speed: 0.9

Luck: -2

Pickups: 1 Bomb, 1¢ (Hush Unlock), Store Key (Satan Unlock)

Items: Wooden Nickel (Isaac Unlock)

Unlock: Donate 1000 Coins to the Greed Donation Machine

Character Attributes: Keeper isn't at Lost-level of rework, but the little shopkeep has definitely see a few shake-ups. Keeper rocks a pair (trio, after Hush) of Coin Hearts, a rad triple shot, and all regular hearts are converted into flies. Wooden Nickel serves as Keeper's lifeblood: 50% odds of a sweet, sweet coin drop, allowing for clutch heals when you need 'em most. Devil Deals cost cash rather than heart containers (Greed, yo), and Store Key is a fun bonus. It's Keeper, Playable Edition™!
