Ah, and another weekend reaches its finale. Sunday evening, dorks and dweebs, and it's always too dang soon. Luckily, I am here with your weekly dose of interesting discussions. Sorry, typo—we're back with another Character Discussion for the ages, as we creep ever closer to the end of our roster. But hey, last but not freaking least. Repentance added a good few characters which mess around with the health bar, and this angsty gal is certainly one of them. We've traded Eve's explicit self-harm for the unavoidable variety with Sumptorium (a Google search which will only ever get you Isaac results), because, my lovely people, we're talking Tainted Eve!

[Tainted Eve]

Health: 2 Red Hearts

Damage: 3.5 * 1.2

Tears: 1.2

Shot Speed: 1

Range: 6.5

Speed: 1.0

Luck: 0

Pickups: None

Items: Sumptorium (Pocket)

Unlock: Use Red Key or Cracked Key on the Home closet as Eve

Character Attributes: This gal is a heck of a ride (and a quick way to develop carpal tunnel)! Holding down the fire keys begins draining health after a brief charge, spawning familiar clots which mow down enemies with extreme prejudice. Clot familiars deal 35% Damage (43% for Black Hearts, 52% for Eternal), and have 3 "Health" (4.5 for Soul, 1.5 for Rotten), taking 1 Damage from enemy contact/projectiles, and 2 from Bombs. Thankfully, the little buggers are immune to lasers, spikes, fireplaces, and other hazards. Rarer clots have unique effects on tears—Bone Clot tears have Compound Fracture, Gold Clots have Midas Touch, Eternal Hearts have Sacred Heart, and Black Hearts have Dark Matter. Activating Sumptorium restores Tainted Eve's health (if possible) and axes living clots (though not all of them?), which return as little balls of blood and deal 3x Damage to enemies they pass through. Tainted Eve also pulls out a melee weapon on reaching 1/2 Heart with no clots, just because. Tainted Eve, baby.
