    Should the pills be buffed? How would you buff them? Maybe the cards should be nerfed instead?

    So, It's basically universally agreed that cards >>> pills.

    The general idea is that the cards just give you the benefit up front with almost no downsides, while pills are risky and require you investing into them, but once you've identified most/all the pills they are better than cards. I think it's a great idea, the problem is, pills are still not that good compared to cards.

    The only thing that really makes them better than cards is permanent stat upgrades. You can have hp up/tears up (good but the usage is still limited), range up/speed up (meh) and luck up (lucky pennies will help you out much better.

    That tears up pill might not be in the rotation, or if it is it might not ever show up in your run anyway, or if it does you might hit the tears cap with items anyway. Is it really worth it to bother with pills?
